Les parasites et les animaux

Nous vivons entourés de parasites plus ou moins actifs, plus ou moins nocifs.

Les choses se compliquent si vous partager votre quotidien avec des animaux. Car, eux, en hébergent encore d’autres qui peuvent avoir un effet très grave sur l’homme.

  • Les vers ascaris qui provoquent des douleurs digestives et peuvent aller jusqu’à impacter la vue.
  • Les puces, qui nous piquent aussi , provoquent souvent des réactions allergiques, une fièvre boutonneuse à puces ou encore la maladie des griffes du chat.
  • Les tiques, porteurs de la maladie de Lyme.

Toutes ces maladies sont graves notamment pour les enfants, les personnes âgées et les gens immuno-déprimées et il est important de prendre des précautions pour les éviter.

Avant tout, assurez-vous que les vaccins de vos animaux sont « à jour » et traitez ces derniers régulièrement contre les parasites à l’aide de pipettes, de sprays, de vermifuges disponibles en pharmacie ou chez votre vétérinaire.

Privilégiez les produits naturels (disponibles en magasin bio) en respectant le calendrier de traitement adapté à votre situation.

Au quotidien

  • Lavez-vous les mains régulièrement
  • Ne laissez pas votre animal lâcher votre visage
  • Ramassez et débarassez-vous des déjections de vos animaux tous les jours
  • Apportez à votre chat ou chien une alimentation saine sans viande crue, ni abat
  • Surtout, allez chez le vétérinaire régulièrement, certains vers pondent des œufs qui peuvent persister jusqu’à 2 ans, il faut prendre le sujet très au sérieux !

La protection de votre famille dépend aussi de la bonne santé de votre animal.
